Roscommon has the highest output of high quality lamb in Europe. It's an extremely important industry in which farmers take a lot of pride in their produce.

At Castlemine Farm we are no acceptation to this rule. Lamb is what our great great grandfather produced generations ago and it has become strength of ours.

The main breeds that suit the climate and land in our area are Suffolk and texel's. This lamb 100% grass fed animals which like beef gives us the rich taste and texture you expect from the lush limestone region from which they derive.

Our products from our grass fed sheep include legs of lamb, shoulders of lamb, diced and minced lamb, lamb chops and loins and racks of lamb.
