Our rare breed pigs are free ranged all year round, this is where they are at their happiest. The main breeds we keep are Saddlebacks, Gloucester Old Spots, Tamworths and crosses these breeds are classed as rare and its important that they are farmed again to ensure their blood lines are not lost forever.

They mostly eat rolled barley and maize or vegetables (mostly turnips) and they forage for any additional treats that the land can provide. Meat from these pigs provides the REAL taste of pork. We just cut and pack the pork ready for eating. No artificial colour or preservatives come near this meat, so it’s therefore the “REAL THING”.

All our ham and bacon products will be cured using a tradition dry curing method, giving the old style taste of bacon and ham.
